Our Reading Room at 128 Gawler Place is now closed. Work has commenced in fit our of our new space at 50 Pirie Street, Adelaide. The new space is very near the old one. We are looking to reopen in Mid to late February.
We are moving as much of our current fittings and furniture as we can possibly use for the new space, but there will be some refreshing changes including in shelf lighting for our retail displays. The space is about the same size but a bit of a different shape which will also provide for a rearrangement of our existing fixtures.
During the closure, you can still ring the Reading Room on 8223 3230 as the number is call forwarded to the Librarian. Our Book Club reading group which runs via Zoom at 2.30pm every Tuesday will also continue.
