Our church services 10.30am Sunday and Testimony Meetings 7.00pm Wednesday are currently still being ‘Zoomed’. We are looking at restarting in-person Sunday services in the next few weeks and will let everyone know when this will happen. We will continue to Zoom both the Sunday service and the Wednesday meetings. For a while, we will continue to provide our Wednesday meeting as a Zoom only event. Your Reading Room at 128 Gawler Place is full of resources to help you. We are open from 9 to 5 Monday to Friday. Here, you can study the weekly Lesson Sermon marked in our Pastor, use our Bible Study tools to gain deeper insight, sit and pray quietly for inspiration, read current or past publications including all authorised biographies of Mrs Eddy – and much more. We also sell all products from the Christian Science Publishing Society.
Research adds a deeper dimension to our individual practice. Sometimes, stepping away from home or work provides us with the release from those thoughts that would try to draw us away from deeper study and prayer. Please feel free to come in and dig about in this rich and abundant place for yourself. We can help you find what you need and we will gladly provide research assistance if you call or come in person.
Reading Room Zoom Meetings:
At the moment, we are reading together 12 Years with Mary Baker Eddy by Irving Tomlinson. This is a group reading via Zoom every Tuesday at 2pm. Contact me if you would like to join the readings. Everyone is welcome.
Shortly, we will be adding another dimension to our Zoom outreach with another weekly meeting. This meeting will have two facets. On one week we will read articles and discuss prayerful ideas on Church. On the next week, we will read selected articles from the Christian Science Monitor and discuss prayerful ideas for the world. I will provide further information soon – but you will need to sign up for the sessions so that I can individually email you the pre-reading.
