Well a lot has changed since our report last month – some of the milestones being – handover of the space from the builders, having books delivered back from storage and lots of stock from the Christian Science Publishing Society – and then the task of unpacking and setting up!The televisions are installed, and the slideshow is already playing out to the public. The point of sale technology is installed and working – with several sales over the first week.

The study room computers have been installed and are ready for use, together with the reference library. Watch this for more!
There are still some final touches to be added over the coming weeks – signage both within and outside, and some acoustic light shades and seating. We expect final completion soon but these things don’t affect our ability to open and connect with the the public.
Planning is now under way with the volunteer staff for activities and themes for the next few months. Ideas so far include playing Christian Science Lectures from TMC website, replaying the recent Youth Summit, replaying the other activities held over the Annual Meeting Weekend, regular readings of the Sermon on the Mount. Once we have a program of events, we will post details on this site. So keep an eye out!
Everyone is welcome to come in and explore the possibilities of the space, sit and read, pray, read and study the lesson using either the full text or marked up books, listen to online programs and podcasts, talk with the staff, look for answers, use online and in-house resources in deeper study – and much more.

Directly opposite the entrance to the shop on Gawler Place, there are 3×15 minute parking spaces. These are convenient if you are after something quick.
