Newsy Things

Hi everyone!  – just an update on what is going on around the place at the moment.

Our first online lecture was a great success – we advertised on FaceBook and had some views on the livestream there.  If you missed it, you can watch the replay until the end of August by CLICKING HERE.  If you want to share it, feel free!

Our Sunday Services continue for the moment at Cottage A at the WEA, 223 Angas Street, Adelaide.  WE have a new sign that we put out on the fence for the duration of the service.  Need info on current church service information?  CLICK HERE.

Parking is available in the WEA car park for $4 (coin only).

For NAIDOC week, we have taken a simple approach with the word Respect.  This is mirrored in a current CS Monitor cover and series of articles on respect.  Click HERE to see that series of articles on the Respect Project.

WE are coming towards the end of “We Knew Mary Baker Eddy – Vol 2 Expanded Edition” in our weekly book club on Tuesday afternoons.  If you would like to join us via Zoom, to read together or just to listen, please contact the Reading Room on 8223 3230 for the Zoom information.  We would love to see you.

Our Reading Room is a wonderful beacon of light to our community.  We have been well received in Pirie Street and look forward to grow in our spiritual understanding of service to our community.  Thanks to everyone for their prayerful support of our branch church’s mission here.  This is from the recent Reading Room newsletter from The Mother Church.
