Our first Zoom Book Club meeting was great fun. We all took turns to read from “12 Years With Mary Baker Eddy” by Irving Tomlinson. Mr Tomlinson was with Mrs Eddy from 1898 to her passing in 1910 – and he heard first hand accounts of her childhood reminiscences – some of which we read together last week. Mary has just married Major George Glover and is starting her new life in the South. Join with us as we start chapter 2.
We take turns reading but if you don’t have the book, you are most welcome to join in and listen. You may be able to borrow a copy from a friend.
The meeting will start at 2pm every Tuesday
At the moment, we will not gather together in the Reading Room, but we will use Zoom for our meetings. As per usual you can use mobile phone, tablet or computer and get in via the internet, or you can telephone in. The meeting access information is DIFFERENT from the Sunday Services – so please see the information below if you would like to join us.
