Hi everyone
Our current Book Club Book isĀ The Life of Mary Baker Eddy by Sibyl Wilbur.Ā We are nearly half way through this book and there are some very interesting finds in here. One thing that has stood out to me is that because this book was written during Mrs Eddy’s life, the author (who was a journalist) was able to seek out an interview people to answer her questions. She is thus able to provide us with a view which is unique because it is connected in time to Mrs Eddy.Ā This was the only biography of Mrs Eddy published with her consent during her lifetime.
Everyone is welcome to join in – every Tuesday at 2.30pm for about an hour. Ā Even if you don’t have the book you are welcome to listen. Copies are available for purchase in the Reading Room at $35.95. We take turns reading, look up word meanings and discuss when we feel the need.
