Ariane Newton CS from Western Australia, has been re-appointed as Committee on Publication (ComPub) for Southern/Western Australia for the period beginning 1 April 2017 and ending 31 March 2018.
Article 33—section 2 in the Manual of the Mother Church sets out the duties and responsibility of the Committee:
Section 2 states in part
“It shall be the duty of the Committee on Publication to correct in a Christian manner impositions on the public in regard to Christian Science, injustices done Mrs. Eddy or members of this Church by the daily press, by periodicals or circulated literature of any sort.”

Dear Friends,
It was a joy to visit Adelaide in March and come to the Church and hear the Sunday Service and also visit the Reading Room on the Saturday.
One thing I did notice as I was driven around Adelaide was the beautiful old buildings in pristine condition including the many Churches in the City and suburbs.
One thought I had in thinking about the sale of the Adelaide Church was that God must have a beautiful place for your new Church and Reading Room already in full view of Mind.
Another thought was as the members go about discovering what God has already prepared what joy it will be to see His hand in taking care of His Church.
I am reminded of Christ Jesus promise: “where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them.” Indeed the members are walking on holy ground about the Father’s business. I join with them in gratitude to God for His love, care, wisdom and guidance in all things.
Thank you again for your warm welcome on my first visit to Adelaide.
